In a move that underscores the growing belief that wellness programs can help employers foster healthy behavior and reduce health care costs, the country’s biggest insurer United Health Group has launched Rally Health for its members, as well as other health plans and self-insured employers, reports Forbes.
"Five million UnitedHealth members now have access to Rally, which provides incentives and rewards to people who complete health surveys, fulfill missions like cutting back on sugar, or complete challenges with the help of a wearable."
